The Public Inquiry into the redevelopment of the Goldhawk industrial estate has closed after three weeks.
Last September, Hammersmith & Fulham Council gave developers LondonNewcastle permission to build 57 new houses and flats, along with eight new business units, on the site of Goldhawk Road Industrial Estate.
But some neighbouring residents, including Brackenbury Residents Association, have campaigned against the scheme, saying they fear it will cause traffic and parking problems, place new demands on local services and drive away local businesses.
The application was called in by the Department of Communities and Local Government and the Planning Inspectorates Olivia Spencer brought the inquiry, which began on May 25, to an end on June 8. A decision is expected to be announced in late summer.
