The application to turn the former Gaumont State into a church has gone in.
The Ruach Inspiration Ministries have submitted a Tim Foster Archtiects design for the conversion of the former cinema at 199 Kilburn High Road, most recently used as a bingo hall. Earlier in the year, Brent Councillor Anthony Dunn had organised a public meeting about the Grade II listed building.
The plans involves demolition and replacement of single-storey toilet block to the side of auditorium, demolition and replacement of single-storey and mezzanine meeting rooms to front of the building, and the construction of new side entrance and toilet extension.
