Fulham Road traders are launching a loyalty card to try to imporve trade.
Hammersmith & Fulham Council is supporting the three-month trial by funding production of cards, promotional posters and leaflets. The council will also provide a link to information on participating shops and discounts from its Visit Fulham website.
The card scheme aims to be running by the beginning of May, and to involve around 30 traders giving discounts and offers to holders of the card. It is a response to falling trade, which for some of the independent outlets along the Road is reported to be as much as 75% down. The card, which will be branded as an ‘I Love Fulham’ card, will be freely available to customers from each participating store along Fulham Road.
