St George are to show plans for a riverside development in Fulham.
A public exhibition at the Distillery Lane centre will display plans for Fulham Reach, a 750-home scheme on the vacant Hammersmith Embankment site. St George hopes to build a mixed use scheme on the seven acre brownfield site, with a new square, restaurants, facilities and a boat club and pontoon, and has already submitted a planning application to Hammersmith and Fulham Council which will be decided later this year.
The will be one of the major construction sites for the Thames Tideway Tunnel for the next seven years. St George told the Fulham Chronicle it is working closely with the water company to find a solution, with the construction of Fulham Reach and the ‘super sewer’ set to run simultaneously if necessary.
