Frasers Property has had plans approved for a 172 home development in Wandsworth.
The development is in the Riverside Quarter, and will provide 172 mixed tenure apartments together with ground floor retail and commercial space. There will also be gardens and landscaped terraces fronting the river. 54% of the apartments will be for shared ownership with the remainder for private sale.
The development will result in the reopening of the Thames path along that section of riverbank. This is the final phase of Frasers redevelopment of the former Shell oil terminal site.
Cllr Richard Field, Deputy Chairman of the Planning Applications Committee, said: “For this building we took into account concerns such as its height, among other matters, and ultimately considered that it remained appropriate with recent developments within the area.”
