The Homes & Communities Agency has announced the shortlisted schemes for its £900m Kickstart scheme, which includes four West London projects.
Mount Anvil’s Atlip Road scheme (pictured) in Alperton, designed by Dexter Moren Architects is on the list, together with Rayners Lane Phase E (Home Group), High Point Village Hayes (Ballymore Properties) and Ickenham Park (Formerly RAF West Ruislip – CALA Ventures).
The Kickstart programme is targetted nationally to help deliver over 22,000 homes by getting stalled schemes going. 270 projects have been shortlisted, and the HCA will now go through them all before allocating the money to the successful schemes. “Each project will be subject to a due diligence process to test assumptions and further explore risk and deliverability before the HCA confirms if it will support each scheme”, says the HCA. The level and form of investment to support successful schemes will be announced on a rolling basis from mid August onwards.
