The Greater London Authority has today appointed Fiona Fletcher-Smith as Director of Development and Environment.
She will help to deliver some of the Mayor’s key priorities like Crossrail and the London Plan. She moves from her post as Corporate Director of Neighbourhoods and Regeneration at the London Borough of Hackney.
Fiona Fletcher-Smith, said: ‘I am hugely excited about taking on this role at the heart of London government. There have been some fantastic developments at Hackney recently and I’m now looking forward to being part of a team working with boroughs and organisations across the whole capital.’
The Development and Environment directorate has recently been created to better reflect the Mayor’s new priorities following a reorganisation.
