Fairview New Homes and One Housing have submitted plans for a 652 home development on the site of a former British Gas facility in New Barnet.
The plans, designed by EPR Architects involve the construction of 15 buildings between one and 10 storeys tall. Fairview are working with One Housing on the Victoria Quarter scheme, which would be 35 per cent affordable. It would also provide 330sqm of retail space, 110sqm of community space and 392 car parking spaces.
Barnet Council gave consent to a 305-home scheme in 2015, with amendments later being approved in 2017.
The site is bounded by a railway embankment, a gasworks site and the Victoria Recreation Ground, and is next to New Barnet station.
