Extra care scheme proposed for Feltham

Hounslow Council is consulting on plans to redevelop the site of the former Ex-Servicemens Club in Feltham as an extra care housing scheme.

The plans for the site in Bedfont Lane could create 92 homes for elderly and vulnerable adults.

The plans are currently at the concept design stage and are part of the council’s ongoing commitment to provide 400 new council homes across the borough.

Councillor Katherine Dunne, Cabinet Member for Housing, Equalities and Inclusion, Hounslow Council said: “We’re committed to making sure there is more affordable housing in the borough and that also includes providing proper support for residents who need specialised housing.

“Good quality housing is key to quality of life; especially for people who require physical adaptations to their homes and residential care.”
