Empire Cinemas have said they will restart work on their Ealing site now they have reached agreement with the council.
There has been a long wrangle over the scheme between developer and authority, partly over the height of the scheme once revised. The scheme was passed through planning last month, and now Empire say they will start work in early 2012.
Empire Cinemas chief executive Justin Ribbons said: “After years of frustration, we’re delighted that we’ll soon be able to commence work on what we’re sure will become one of the area’s most popular leisure attractions.”
