Elections – LBH&F change

Labour has won control of Hammersmith & Fulham Council, ending twelve years of Conservative control.

A swing of eleven seats from Conservative to Labour was enough to move control of the council.

LBH&F has made many changes to planning and development since the Conservatives took control, and this result is bound to raise questions about how those policies might now change.

Labour strengthened their hold on control of Ealing and Hounslow, and formally took control of Harrow. In Brent they virtually wiped out the LibDem opposition.

The Conservatives held on to Hillingdon, although Labour did make a small gain there too.
