LB Ealing’s £6.5m road surface improvement plan is progressing.
The works, which include 84 lengths of road and 24 stretches of footpaths, are due for completion in March. More than a quarter of the roads have already been resurfaced and nearly a quarter of the footpaths repaired. Ealing Council Leader, Councillor Jason Stacey, said:”This latest investment means we spent £18.5million improving Ealing’s streets over the last three years.
After the work has been carried out, utility companies cannot dig up the roads again for three years unless it is an emergency. For more information about the roads and footpaths scheduled for improvements visit www.ealing.gov.uk/transportandstreets
