Ealing puts £5.5m into roads

Ealing Council’s cabinet has agreed to invest £5.5million in improving roads and footpaths across the borough.

Their annual survey of road and pavement condition has produced a list of thise in a poor condition targeted for resurfacing.

The full list of roads and footways scheduled for improvement in 2013/14 can be found on the council’s website.

Councillor Bassam Mahfouz, cabinet member for transport and environment, said: “Ealing has 322 miles of roads and 628 miles of footpaths and, once again, we are prioritising those that are in the most urgent need of repair.”
