Ealing opens public debate on Crossrail stations

Ealing Council is holding a public meeting on plans for the redevelopment of some of the boroughs rail stations as part of the Crossrail scheme. Crossrail will stop at five stations in the borough – Southall, Hanwell, West Ealing, Ealing Broadway and Acton.

On Tuesday, 22 September, a specialist scrutiny panel will be hearing from representatives from Crossrail and Network Rail, who will be discussing plans for the redevelopment of Acton Main Line and West Ealing Stations at an open meeting in the Town Hall at 7pm.

Councillor John Cowing, Crossrail Specialist Scrutiny Panel Chairman, said: Im sure a lot of people have strong views on the plans and this is a chance for them to find out more and share their thoughts with others. We want to hear what residents think about the Crossrail proposals.
