Ealing Council has unveiled the team of nine councillors who will form the cabinet.
The new cabinet was appointed by the leader of the council, Julian Bell at the first full council meeting since last month’s local elections.
Councillor Bell said: “We are pleased with what we have already achieved, despite the difficult economic conditions, but there is so much more we want to do. The future holds some challenges but we are ready for them and have gone straight back to work to make sure we continue to improve services, while delivering a high standard of services to our residents.”
Councillor Ranjit Dheer has been appointed deputy leader of the council, while Councillor Jasbir Anand, is cabinet member for housing, employment and skills, and Councillor Bassam Mahfouz is cabinet member for transport and environment.
