Ealing consults on extra Primary School capacity

LB Ealing has opened a conultation on adding 2,500 primary school places to the Borough's capacity.

Proposals have just been published detailing how more than 2,500 extra primary school places could be made available across the borough.  Residents have until Friday, 13 February, to let the Council know what they think of the plans.

The primary schools being considered for expansion are St John’s, Little Ealing, Fielding, Brentside, North Ealing, Oldfield, Selborne, Stanhope and Wood End Infant.  Expansion proposals from Catholic and Church of England schools in areas of growth will also be sought.

Cabinet Member for Children’s Services, Councillor Ian Gibb, said: “The Council is proposing a huge investment in the borough’s primary schools to ensure the needs of local families are properly met".
