Ealing Council are holding a series of consultation events on their plans to spend OLF money in Acton.
Following the council’s recent successful bid to the Outer London Fund, £500,000 will be invested in improving Acton’s town centre next year.
Plans will be on display at the Oak Tree Church on Monday, 5 December or Thursday, 8 December, and there will be an information stall on Saturday, 10 December at the Acton Christmas fair in Acton Market Square.
The proposals are looking at improving the vibrancy of the High Street with ideas for improved lighting, public art, landscaping and enhanced public areas. This will include creating more dynamic spaces, improving the consistency of street furniture and signage, working with local schools and groups on an art project and creating a more secure environment through lighting.
