Ealing approves Acton plans

Ealing Council have approved their own plans for the repurposing of Acton Town Hall and the swimming baths.

The plans, developed by Scott Brownrigg and also involving S&P Architects, involve building a new three storey building containing a replacement swimming pool and associated facilities behind the retained Kings Rooms facade fronting the High Street and attached to the Town Hall extension.

The Town Hall extension would be converted to a service centre on the ground floor and library on the first floor. The plans involve the demolition of the Acton Baths building.

The development has been designed to achieve a BREEAM Very Good rating.
