Inland Developments have submitted their plans for the NATS site in West Drayton.
“Drayton Garden Village” is the planned scheme for the 32 acre former National Air Traffic Services (NATS) Site in Porters Way, West Drayton. It has already been through a full public consultation and exhibition. The 755 home development is two thirds taken up by houses and gardens, with less flats than other similar developments. It will also include a new medical centre and an 80 bedroom care home. Avenues around the development would be lined with trees and link into the town centre to encourage people to walk and cycle.
Stephen Wicks, chief executive of Inland Developments, told the Uxbridge Gazette: “Inland have respected an important desire of the local community – a scheme which brought additional facilities to the area and improved the environment rather than cause them problems.”
