Dominion Centre work begins

Dom_rear_entranceWork has started on a £3 million redevelopment of Southall’s Dominion Centre.

The new look Dominion Centre will incorporate Southall Library, services for people with disabilities and a community centre offering more space for local groups to meet and host events or activities.

It will feature a new extension, café and learning room for adult education sessions. The centre will also have space for activities such as IT and exercise classes, including specific sessions for adults and children with learning and physical disabilities.

The existing hall, meeting rooms and reception area will be refurbished and the lift will be updated and brought back into use.

There will also be parking available for centre users with a dedicated drop off and pick up area to provide ease of access for visitors.
