Global air services provider dnata has agreed a pre-let with Scottish Widows Investment Partnership (SWIP) for a 141,000 sq ft cargo warehouse hub at Heathrow Airport.
The new facility will be on the Blackburn & Court Farm Estate on Northumberland Road and will be the first phase of development on the park, subject to planning. SWIP hopes work will start later this year.
A further 70,000 sq ft of industrial space could be developed on the remaining 3.5 acres.
Paul Cole, interim chief executive Officer of dnata UK, said: “Our willingness to invest in new facilities is a sign of our commitment to London Heathrow Airport.”
