Diageo is to move its headquarters in to Soho Square, opening up their First Central building – known as 7HQ – as a significant landmark office opportunity.
In recent years, Diageo’s use of the building had become less intensive – they plan to accommodate all staff from the 200,000 sq ft 7HQ, along with those from three other locations, in one 100,000 sq ft building which will include some retail space.
The move will take place in the Spring of 2021, as the company enters the final stages of its current lease in Park Royal.
The 7HQ building, a headquarters opportunity on the A40 and close to Park Royal underground station, is next to a number of other commercial buildings, and a current Fairview Homes and L&Q site where 807 homes are being built. The site was once part of the Gusiness Factory and Sports Ground site.
