Decision time looms for Arcadia

Arcadia new design 2 Glenkerrin's Arcadia scheme goes before the planning committee on Wednesday.

After the approval of Dicken's Yard, most are expecting approval, particularly given the Council officer's report, which recommends approval, and CABE's positive report on the scheme.

There is likely to be a raft of Section 106 payments totalling £6.4m, and a condition that work should begin within three years.

Pressure Group 'Save Ealing's Centre' (SEC) are gearing up for a lively meeting, encouraging their supporters to go along to the meeting to back up their five speakers on the agenda – who make up most of the seven objectors.
