Dairy Crest has announced it is to close its glass bottling facility in Hanworth, with the loss of 200 jobs.
The Hounslow Chronicle reports the site will remain operational for two years, but that a lack of demand means it will no longer be needed – the firm delivers mainly in plastic containers now.
