Curve refused

Starbones’ plans for a residential tower on the Chiswick Roundabout site, known as the Chiswick Curve, have been refused.

The plans would have produced a 32-storey tower clad with digital advertising boards facing the M4. The plans were recommended for refusal by planning officers on grounds of scale and harm to local heritage sites. They also criticised the quality of the design and proportion of affordable housing.

The refusal will be automatically referred to the Mayor of London.
