Crossrail are to bring to market two West London sites for development, as they begin to sell the space no longer needed for depots and worksites.
Jonathan Ring of Crossrail outlined the two sites while speaking at the West London Business property lunch.
One is east of Southall Station, and extends to three acres, and would be suitable for residential development. It should come to market late 2016.
The second extends to just over five acres in three plots on Rigby Lane and would be more for industrial use. There will also be some continued Crossrail operational use of this site.
More sites are expected to come forward as Crossrail nears completion.
