The report enumerates the benefits felt in transport improvements, through shorter journey times, and through wider economic benefits such as employment. The total for the West London Boroughs is £213m.
illingdon leads the way, with £59m of benefit. Ealing is a close second, with £57m of benefit from its five Crossrail stations.
Brent (£31m), Hounslow (£27m), Hammersmith & Fulham (£23m), and Harrow (£16m) complete the picture.
Newham can expect a £100m economic boost, which is the largest of any Borough. Greenwich can expect £84m.
The figures are estimated for the year 2026 and comprise Transport Benefits and additional Earnings from productivity effects (ie more workers working in Central London and earning higher salaries as a result). See the full report here.
