Creative London revealed

Omawhitecity2_tcm231332860 Architect OMA have revealed images of their designs for Creative London.

The 43 acre phase one of the W12 opportunity zone residential and media hub is a £2bn development backed by a consortium of Helical Bar, the BBC and Marks and Spencer.

Since OMA are also working with the BBC on their redeveopment of the TV Centre, which they plan to vacate in 2012, this means they are now looking at an area slightly bigger than King’s Cross and slightly smaller than Stratford City. That makes it one of the largest regeneration schemes in the UK.
