Crane Park plans on show

The Crane Park make-over plans are going to consultation.

LB Hounslow and LB Richmond (who jointly manage the park) were awarded £400,000 by Boris Johnson’s “Great Open Spaces” programme, and now they are showing the plans to spend the money.

Councillor Becky Stewart, Hounslow Council’s executive member for leisure, tod the Hounslow Chronicle: This is a chance for all our residents to get involved and give us their views on the proposals. I urge anyone who uses the park to come and let us know what they think.

The first open session will be held next Saturday, between midday and 2pm, at Heathfield School, in Cobbett Road, Twickenham. The second will take place between 6pm and 8pm, on Wednesday, February 24, at Crane Park Primary Childrens School, in Norman Avenue, Hanworth.

Alternatively the plans can be viewed on Hounslow Councils website at www.hounslow.info/parks/cranevalley.
