Several hundred jobs could go at Carphone Warehouse's Park Royal HQ.
The Ealing Gazette reports that Carphone Warehouse are planning to shed up to 450 support staff from its main office and call centres "in response to the economic climate".
Staff at the North Acton office, at the Park Royal Southern Gateway - which employs 2,000 workers – have been warned of the cuts. A 90 day consultation period has been launched.
A spokeswoman told the Gazette: "Our commitment to the customer is paramount, we have not placed any store roles at risk. In our ambition to transform consumer electronics across Europe with Best Buy we will also be creating 1,000 UK jobs in the next 12 months."
