Congress goes office-to-resi

Sorbon Estates has used permitted development rights to clear the conversion of Harrow’s Congress House from office to residential, the first use of the amended regulations in West London.

The Lyon Road office block will have its first to sixth floor converted in to 54 flats in the first known use of the permitted development rights in West London.

Sorbon used the new rights to notify the council of the intended change on July 1.
