Community Garden grows in Acton

Catalyst Housing and Groundwork London have created a sustainable community garden on an urban waste island in Acton.

The project, Westcott Park Garden in Perry Avenue on the Westcott Park estate, has been in place for two years and is still going strong. The site, backing on to the tube tracks, was previously a magnet for anti-social behaviour. Now it provides local schoolchildren with education on food and gardening.
