Meanwhile Space, a community enterprise company which matches people who need retail or creative space with landlords who have empty properties, is working with Brent Council to revitalise Wembley’s sense of community by making use of otherwise empty spaces.
Meanwhile Space has already set up The Coming Soon Club in a disused toolhire shop at 5-7 Wembley Hill Road to help local people with business ideas make use of empty shops and offices in Wembley.
The club is already host to a hat shop and mothers and toddlers’ group with other projects arriving. It helps Wembley people start their own business, open a shop, get a community group or activity going by providing space and advice.
