London Designer Outlet has signed up Clarks to open a unit in the centre, marking a return for the retailer to Wembley.
Clarks closed their Wembley High Road branch a number of years ago. It has now signed a 10 year lease for a 5,295 sq ft branch within Quintain’s 350,000 sq ft shopping centre which will open in 2013 next to the new Wembley Hilton.
Quintain say the signing completes the line-up of anchor stores for LDO following the recent commitment to the scheme of US fashion brand Max Studio, Marks & Spencer, GAP, Nike, Superdry and Guess.
Quintain has also secured a number of restaurant brands at LDO, including TGI Friday’s which is already open.
Phil Cottingham, Head of Retail at Quintain, said: “Clarks will be a major draw for local shoppers and international visitors alike, completing the strong line-up of international outlet brands. LDO will be London’s only designer outlet, so it’s essential that we offer strong retail brands that are familiar names both in the UK and to overseas shoppers.”
