City & Country takes on Bentley Priory

City & Country, who will refurbish the main mansion building at Bentley Priory, have taken over the site.

The Grade II listed mansion house at the former RAF base in Stanmore, home to Fighter Command during World War Two, will house eight luxury flats and a museum of the Battle of Britain. City & County specialise in converting listed buildings.

The rest of the site was acquired by Barratt after Vinci St Modwen obtained planning permission for a 103 home scheme last year.
