Church seeks to build flats

St andrews fulham St Andrews Church, Fulham, has submitted plans to build flats on its grounds.

The plan, designed by Brighton based Crowther Associates, involves returning the Church on St Andrews Road to its historic proportions, demolishing an extension, and replacing it with a five-storey block containing 10 self-contained flats.

By doing this the Church is aiming to raise funds for the creation of three large community halls, a cafe area, a church office and new toilet facilities, as well as restoration work to the Church itself.
