Chiswick Park Enjoy-Work unveils its summer programme

Chiswick Park has announced its programme of summer events to the 9,000 employees working on the site.

The programme, called ‘Summer on the Park 2019’, will run from Friday 24th May to Friday 13th September 2019 with the majority of events taking place at lunchtime between 12pm and 2pm, allowing the business campus community to get away from their desks and enjoy the environment.

At the heart of the ‘Summer on the Park 2019’ is ‘Chiswick Park Island’, the Park’s most expansive and immersive experience to date – a full month – July – of beach activities, sports leagues, film screenings and much more.

Chiswick Park will use its outdoor screen every Thursday evening in July for the campus’ own ‘Film Festival’ with movies being shown from 6pm. The Plaza Film Festival will be free and open to anyone to attend, as is the annual ‘Family Fun Day’, a community event where families are invited for an afternoon of fun packed with kids’ activities, live entertainment and performers.

The summer months will also see the return of the Urban Food Fest Markets, offering a range of both sweet and savoury treats for all palates on Thursday 27th June, Thursdays 1st August and 29th August. Other events include ‘Drive Time’, ‘Art on the Park’, ‘Adventure Land’ and ‘Tech City’. The programme will also count two ‘Wellbeing Weeks’ in May and August, a key focus area at Chiswick Park.

“We are looking forward to kicking off our ‘Summer on the Park 2019’ on May 24th. Our events programme is created to add enjoyment to the working lives of our guests. We believe that the environment on the Campus and the activities we offer help our guests refocus on their work and increase their productivity. This year we are also looking at involving more of the local community into our Chiswick Park community with events such as the Urban Food Fest food markets and the film Festival. It is going to be a great summer!’, said Matt Coulson, CEO Chiswick Park Enjoy-Work.

Chiswick Park is home to 67 of some of the world’s leading companies such as QVC, Disney, Discovery, Starbucks and Danone.
