Chiswick House Cafe, Stonebridge Hub up for Civic Trust Awards

chiswick house cafeChiswick House Cafe and the Hillside Hub have been shortlisted for the Civic Trust Awards.

Caruso St John’s Chiswick House Cafe (pictured left) opened in 2011 to critical and local acclaim, and provides an upmarket cafe experience, with great views of Chiswick House and its gardens.

hillside hubThe Hillside Hub in Stonebridge Park (pictured right) was designed by Edward Cullinan Architects for REAL, part of Rydon Homes, and is a mixed use development with homes and a health centre. It has also been critically acclaimed, and broadly welcomed by locals. 

The Civic Trust Awards is an independent built environment awards scheme established in 1959 to recognise the very best in architecture, design, planning, landscape and public art. Successful projects must also be culturally, socially or economically beneficial, and make an outstanding contribution to the quality and appearance of the built environment.

Each of the finalists will be presented with an Award, Commendation or Community Recognition at the Awards Ceremony.
