Uxbridge Industrial Estate scheme is the subject of a planning appeal, says the developer.
According to Charlie Withers, of Chancerygate, they have not, as reported yesterday, put this scheme on hold. "The Local Authority refused the application because they had not dealt with the application in the timescales they are obliged to do so. Chancerygate are appealing the refusal and have submitted a new application (the same as the previous one) so that we can get a decision and commence construction as soon as possible", says Withers.
"There are no substantive outstanding issues on the planning front. We would be on site now had the Council dealt with matters more swiftly".
The £3.5m scheme includes 29 B1, B2 and B8 industrial and warehousing uses.
