The Champions League final, to be played at Wembley on May 28, has provided a 70% occupancy boost for London’s hotels.
Over half the tickets for the game have not even been allocated, as the semi-finals of the tournament are yet to be played. So the boost is set to continue. So far, London’s hotels have recorded a 67.8 per cent increase in room reservations on the same date last year, reports the Evening Standard.
This welcome bost for the hospitality industry is a taster for the boom they can expect during the Olympics next year.
