Carlton Properties have submitted their new plans for the Alfa Laval site on the Great West Road.
The site which has been lying derelict for more a decade would be home to two hotels, offices, 206 flats and houses and a 361-space underground car park in a scheme designed by Assael Architecture. The development – with the second hotel having 151 beds – would scale up to 12 storeys in height.
The plans have already been shown to the Brentford Community Council, and there is broad support from locals for the scheme.
Brentford Councillor Matt Harmer told the Hounslow Guardian: The site has been unused for so long that we want to make sure we get the right use for it.”
