Capital West London hosted an event last week at MIPIM, the world’s leading international investment event, which promoted a range of regeneration opportunities across the sub-region to an audience of current and potential investors.
Around 60 people attended the event which, together with a number of one to one meetings, put these opportunities in front of the world’s investment community, at a time when encouraging continued inward investment is crucial.
Cllr Julian Bell, leader of Ealing Coucil, and chair of the West London Economic Prosperity Board, speaking at the event, said: “Capital West London is a very good illustration of our cross-party, combined authority style way of working. We set it up through the West London Alliance Economic Prosperity Board to do just what it is doing.
“We are very proud of our progress on the West London Orbital, also enabled by our collaborative working through the Alliance, and which could help create 5,000 jobs and unlock 20,000 homes.
“We are taking what is the best connected plasce in the world, and telling the world its story.”
Ross Sturley, of Capital West London speaking about the pack of investment opportunities presented at MIPIM, said: “This is the first time we have brought togehter a collated pack of West London investment opportunity. It’s just a selection of the wealth of such opportunities that exist in the sub-region. Now we want investors to come forward and express interest in one or more, then we can get on with realising them.”
