Capco sees Earls Court value soar

Capital & Counties have posted a significant revaluation of their Earls Court site in their preliminary results for 2012.

The site has seen a 57.6% increase in valuation on a like-for-like basis to £336m, £14.8m per acre. In their 2011 figures it was valued at £195m.

The rise reflects the granting of planning permission for their redevelopment, and the signing of a conditional land sale agreement with LB Hammersmith & Fulham for the West Kensington and Gibbs Green estates.
