Buildings around West London are getting ready to open their doors to all for Open House weekend in September.
The BBC TV Centre, Maggies Centre, and Richard Rogers’ studios at Thames Wharf are among the buidlinq open for viewing on the weekend – September 18 and 19.
Also available for viewing are the Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Neasden, Brent Town Hall, Will Alsop’s Fawood Children’s Centre, the Edward Cullinan designed Hillside Hub in Stonebridge, the Cloisters at St Benedicts School, among many other historic buildings and more modern architectural gems.
If you want to visit the Zog House in Brent, 22 Mount Pleasant Road in Ealing, 44 Stamford Brook Road in Hammersmith (all private homes), or Sweetmans Hall in Harrow and Ickenham Manor in Hillingdon, they are all among the usually private spaces open, but you’ll need to book to visit them.
