University rankings produced by the Guardian show Brunel jumping nearly 40 places in a universities league table.
The rankings are compiled using a bespoke formula based on interviews with students. Brunel moved from 82nd to 44th place in the overall rankings.
Imperial College stayed fairly static at 13th spot on the list while the University of West London (formerly Thames Valley University) climbed from 81st to 68th. There are 120 on the list in total
