Brent Council is consulting on a proposed new policy to protect community buildings such as pubs from being developed into housing, as part of its draft Development Management Policies consultation.
The proposed policy aims to help safeguard community facilities that meet local needs and is being proposed in direct response to the increasing pressure to turn important community hubs like local pubs into residential developments.
