Brent opens consultation on Harlesden facelift

Brent Council has opened a four-week consultation on proposed improvements to the main shopping streets in Harlesden Town Centre.

The scheme, which will include wider footways; new trees; street furniture and new parking arrangements, aims to reduce the impact of motor-vehicle traffic by improving conditions for pedestrians, cyclists and public transport users.

Council officers and members of the Harlesden Town Team will be there to discuss the options and answer questions. Large scale plans of the proposals will also be on display throughout the consultation period at Harlesden Library.
