Plans have been approved for a a pop-up visitor pavilion as part of Argent Related’s 6,700-home Brent Cross South development
The temporary, three storey, 8000sq ft building, designed by Moxon Architects for a site on Claremont Way, next to a new temporary park and a parade of shops which will be converted into meanwhile spaces to serve visitors, project teams and the community, will house exhibitions and a large model of the planned £4.5 billion town centre set within the wider Brent Cross Cricklewood regeneration programme, as well as a cafe and viewing terrace.
The building will be manufactured off-site, and have a recyclable timber frame designed for the circular economy.
Construction is expected to start next month, and the pavilion is expected to open in 2021.
