Brent Civic Centre tops out

brent_new_civic_centre_2The new Hopkins Architects designed Civic Centre for Brent Council in Wembley has topped out.

The building, into which Brent Council will move most of its staff, is a key component of the regeneration of Wembley, and will be home to around 1250 council staff and will also house a new central library, an assembly hall, Council Chamber and assorted related facilities.

Brent is using the Civic Centre project as a driver for regeneration in the area, introducing a large number of workers to the Wembley City zone, helping make the retail and proposition more compelling, and attracting other commercial occupiers.
