Bosch will open a ‘centre of excellence’ just outside Uxbridge.
The world’s largest supplier has an existing headquarters at Broadwater Park in Denham (South Bucks), and will now soon open a training and skills centre at the Riverside Way Industrial Estate, off St John’s Road in Uxbridge. .
Bosch plan to train in around 2,000 technicians a year to start with, increasing to 4.500 by its fifth year. 11 full time jobs will be created on site.
SEGRO, who own the building, told the Uxbridige Gazette that, based on a UK Tourism Survey index of hotel visitors spending £99 average per night, the training centre could boost the local economy by £1.8 million a year.
